We're thrilled to kick off fall by awarding one school with $5,000 from our annual back-to-school giveaway. The winner of this year's giveaway is... Stargate Charter School!
Tamara Trujillo nominated Stargate and shared the charter school located in Thornton, Colorado has, "good parent and community involvement."
Founded in 1994, the mission of Stargate School is to provide differentiated programs designed specifically to meet the needs of identified intellectually gifted learners in order to challenge each student's academic abilities, support their unique emotional needs, promote individual character development and encourage a life-long love of learning.
Today, Stargate is the largest school for gifted learners in the state of Colorado.
Dedicated staff members collaborate with parents and the community to host family-friendly events that foster new school traditions, while also promoting inclusiveness and strengthening the students and family's commitment to the school.

Just a note to say how much I love SignUpGenius. I'm coaching a team from Team-in-Training that is fundraising and training to ride 100 miles around Lake Tahoe to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We have weekly training rides that need volunteer support and a need to get RSVPs from the cyclists so I know who will show up at team rides. Using SignUpGenius, I have ride support volunteers for almost all our rides through early May. This has been like pulling teeth in the past. It was so simple to set up and send out and easy for the volunteers to sign up.
